Return Policy

This Return Policy outlines the cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms for gentle physical activity consultation products purchased from Gardenflexible through gardenflexible.world. We are committed to fair and transparent policies that respect both our clients and the nature of our personalised consultation services. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any session package.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all consultation products offered by Gardenflexible, including the Introductory Movement Consultation priced at $95 NZD, the Six-Session Gentle Activity Plan priced at $320 NZD, and the Monthly Guided Movement Support priced at $58 NZD per month. It also covers gift vouchers and any promotional packages offered through our website. Digital resources and personalised activity plans delivered as part of consultation packages are considered service deliverables and are subject to the terms outlined below.

2. Your Consumer Rights

As a consumer in New Zealand, you are protected by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Our consultation services are guaranteed to be carried out with reasonable care and skill, fit for the purpose discussed during booking, and delivered within a reasonable timeframe. If our services fail to meet these guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund, depending on the severity of the failure. This Return Policy operates in addition to your statutory rights and does not limit them in any way.

3. Cancellation Before First Session

If you cancel your consultation package before the first scheduled session, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price, minus any non-refundable third-party processing fees incurred during payment. Refunds for prepaid packages will be processed within ten business days to the original payment method. Monthly Guided Movement Support subscriptions may be cancelled before the first session of each billing cycle for a full refund of that month's fee.

4. Cancellation After Sessions Begin

If you wish to cancel after one or more sessions have been completed, the refund amount will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. For the Six-Session Gentle Activity Plan, the per-session value is determined by dividing the total package price by six. Completed sessions are non-refundable. Unused sessions will be refunded at the per-session rate. For the Introductory Movement Consultation, no refund is available once the sixty-minute session has been conducted, as the full service has been delivered. Monthly Guided Movement Support may be cancelled at any time with no refund for the current billing month once a session has been delivered.

5. Rescheduling Policy

We understand that schedules change. Clients may reschedule any consultation session by providing at least twenty-four hours notice via email or phone. Rescheduled sessions will be accommodated at the earliest mutually convenient time within ninety days of the original date. Sessions rescheduled with adequate notice are never forfeited. If Gardenflexible needs to reschedule a session due to consultant availability or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer an alternative time at no additional cost or provide a full refund for the affected session if rescheduling is not possible.

6. Missed Sessions and No-Shows

Sessions missed without at least twenty-four hours notice are considered no-shows. No-show sessions may be forfeited without refund at the discretion of Gardenflexible. We understand that emergencies occur, and we will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis when documentation or reasonable explanation is provided. Repeated no-shows may result in termination of the consultation package without refund for remaining sessions.

7. Package Upgrades and Transfers

Clients may upgrade from the Introductory Movement Consultation to the Six-Session Gentle Activity Plan or Monthly Guided Movement Support at any time. The full amount paid for the introductory session will be credited toward the upgraded package price. Consultation packages are personal to the purchaser and are not transferable to another individual without prior written consent from Gardenflexible. Gift vouchers are transferable to the recipient named at the time of purchase.

8. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers for Gardenflexible consultation packages are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. Unused vouchers after the expiry date are non-refundable but may be extended at our discretion upon request. Gift vouchers can be redeemed for any consultation package of equal or lesser value, with the recipient paying the difference for higher-value packages. Gift vouchers are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

9. Digital Materials and Activity Plans

Personalised activity plans, printable guides, and digital resources provided as part of consultation packages are custom-created for individual clients. Due to their personalised nature, these materials are non-returnable and non-refundable once delivered. If you believe the materials provided do not reflect the agreed consultation outcomes, please contact us within fourteen days of delivery so we can review and, where appropriate, revise the materials at no additional charge.

10. Monthly Subscription Terms

Monthly Guided Movement Support is billed on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us before the next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are provided for Monthly Guided Movement Support once the monthly consultation session has been delivered. If no session has been delivered in the current billing period, a full refund for that month will be issued upon cancellation.

11. Refund Process

Approved refunds are processed within ten business days of approval to the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds may take an additional three to five business days to appear in your account depending on your financial institution. Credit card refunds are initiated immediately upon approval but may take five to ten business days to reflect on your statement. You will receive email confirmation when a refund has been processed. 12. Service Dissatisfaction

Your satisfaction with our gentle physical activity consultation services is important to us. If you are dissatisfied with any session or deliverable, please contact us within seven days of the session date. We will work with you to address your concerns, which may include a complimentary follow-up session, revision of your activity plan, or a partial refund depending on the circumstances. We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and promptly in accordance with New Zealand consumer protection standards.

13. Force Majeure

Gardenflexible is not liable for failure to deliver consultation sessions due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, power outages, or internet service disruptions affecting remote consultations. In such events, affected sessions will be rescheduled at no additional cost or refunded at the client's choice. We will communicate promptly about any service disruptions and available options.

14. Disputes

If you are unable to resolve a refund or cancellation dispute directly with us, you may contact the Citizens Advice Bureau or pursue a claim through the Disputes Tribunal of New Zealand for eligible amounts. We are committed to cooperating with any formal dispute resolution process and providing all relevant documentation upon request.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Return Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Policy changes apply to purchases made after the update date. Purchases made before a policy change will be governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase, unless the change is required by law and provides greater protection to the consumer.
